Using diet, gentle exercise, and relaxation techniques, Dr. James Rouse leads viewers on a journey to naturally increase their tension-fighting serotonin levels. This well-organized program offers short-term solutions from Rouse, an M.D. with another degree in natural medicine, involving healthy snacks, guided relaxation, self massage, and restorative yoga poses. For long-term solutions, he calls upon yoga expert Rodney Yee to demonstrate a daily meditation for focus and a yoga meditation to relieve stress. Yee also provides voice-over for a daily yoga practice and an evening practice to calm and unwind. Rouse suggests a menu to capitalize on foods to boost serotonin and fight the release of the stress hormone cortisol. Recipes and additional information are provided in an accompanying booklet. With 110 minutes of information at their disposal, viewers can easily create a personalized routine. This DVD contains information similar to--and, in some places, the same as--the info in Health Solutions: Sleep. --Kimberly Heinrichs

Stressed out in Iraq4
As a deployed soldier in Iraq I needed any kind of relief I could get and I am thankful I invested in this. I have found a lot of helpful tips on this video.

Health and Wellness DVD review4
This DVD contained some very helpful information. I found the nutrition segment valuable. I was not really into the whole "meditate and let your mind encompass the universe" stuff, though. Some people might find that interesting. The yoga segments were useful.
