Editorial Reviews

From the Back Cover
Christian Slater stars in this non-stop action-comedy! George Kuffs (Slater) is a restless young man who wants to make the big score. But when his beautiful girlfriend (Milla Jovovich) begins to get serious, George decides it's time to move on.

Approaching his older brother Brad (Bruce Boxleitner) for a loan, George received a job proposal instead: join Brad's well-regarded Patrol Special team. Not real keen on the idea, George nonetheless becomes the new owner of the business when Brad is heartlessly gunned down in the line of duty.

Soon George finds himself battling a crime spree in his district with a surly police partner (Tony Goldwyn). Out to avenge his brother, George closes in on a crooked art dealer who is trying to wrestle the district away from him.

Breakneck action meets slapstick comedy with a hip score by Harold Faltermeyer in this high-powered adventure! END

Sadly Overlooked Action Adventure Comedy5
Christian Slater's character reminds me of a young Jack Nicholson, who replaces his brother on the Police Force after he is murdered. I was surprised that he didn't become as popular as Tom Cruise after this film was released in 1992, but he had a few personal issues during the 90s that stalled his career. I think he's a better actor than most people realize, with much more talent than making below average movies like "Broken Arrow".

Underrated by Critics5
Critics who were just trying to kill Slater's career as they do with many actors, actresses and directors rated this a horrible movie. But this movie is so hilarious. The drugged coffee? "I like my coffee cold." The chief's car. The part when Slater answered his front door with a gun pointed at whoever was standing behind and that guy who threw his arms up and fainted! "Why are we doing all this running? Aren't we all going to be in cars?!" And Milla is the definition of sexy.

What Great Movie Kuffs.5
I forgot how funny this movie is kinda of a ferris bueller/fletch comedy thriller keep you on the edge of your seat while laughing too what a great movie. supporting cast is wonderful in this film you'll just love it.

It's PG-13 For Lauguage , Action Violence.
