Customer Reviews
The traditional Boy Trebles
Once Were Angles is a collection of outstanding British boy trebles performances, spanning the years 1964 - 1989 which demonstrates the range and beauty of this art form. If you love the haunting sound and pure quality of the Boy treble voice this is a must own.
The only fault I found was the quality for some of the recordings since we have all become accustom to virtually unlimited dynamic range, this ADD disk leaves me a bit disappointed. I hasten to add this it is not the result of the performer rather the result of the technology in 1964 this hinders this disk.
The voices are beautiful and the songs as even better.
