My daughter started using Letter Sounds at age 3 and within weeks she was reading. At age 4 she entered public kindergarten and was tested by her instructor. She tested at a second grade reading level, she was writing and spelling at a higher level, and she was invited to join the first graders during writing. --Rundal H.

I absolutely love your Letter Sounds Video. The phonological and orthological aspects of this video combined with that little human mouth in the upper right hand corner of each screen makes your video the most innovative beginning phonics video I have ever viewed. We intend to order Letter Sounds Video for every Child Development Center in Oakland. --Janet Ohanis, M.A., Ed., Administrator, Oakland Unified School District and Pre-K Regional Coordinator, California Reading & Language Project

I teach Kindergarten, and recently showed your Letter Sounds Video for the first time to my class. After the video was over, a student came up to me, rather excitedly, and told me, 'that video gave me a new brain, and now I can read! My old brain didn t know how to read, but now I can!' Sure enough, he went home that night and read an entire story to his parents! He was so proud of himself, and we are so proud of him too. Keep up the good work! --Cindy DeKeyrel, Skyline North School

Not Very Rockin!
This video does not really tie anything concrete to each letter which made it difficult for my child to retain the sound each letter makes. It also does not spend a lot of time helping your child learn each letter/sound before jumping into these silly quizzes about putting sounds together and asking what sound certain words begin with. We then bought the Leapfrog Letter Factory, and within 2 weeks my son knew all of his letters and sounds. Skip this one and go with a quality video. If you're looking for an introductory letter recognition dvd, this is not it.
Worthless
I have an almost 3 year old and a 4.5 year old. I can't even bribe them to watch this movie. I am disappointed I spent so much money on this.
not as good as others..
I purchased the 5 DVD set by LeapFrog which teaches letters and the sounds they make. The purchase of the Rock and Sound dvd was more for the grownup's - so we could get a break from watching the LeapFrog! However this one (nor any others purchased since) can compare to the LeapFrog set. My grandson is 3 1/2 and it didn't take very long for him to pick up the names of the letters and the sounds they make. The LeapFrog set really excited him - so I recommend that set - skip this one.
