Customer Reviews
Plenty Of Bang For The Buck
An excellent Budget priced introduction to Steve's breakout MCA years. Most of his signature early tunes are here. The remastering is great. I bought the cd for the 2 rare cuts..."Six Days On The Road"..."Continental Trailway Blues"...both soundtrack cuts. These are both great songs and worth the price of the disc. I own all of Steve's cd's already, but the remastering also made this a great purchase. My only complaint is the omission of "The Devil's Right Hand".
Prime Earle
Only 12 cuts here, but every one is a gem. This is early Earle, pre-prison, i.e., his best stuff from Guitar Town, Exit O and Copperhead Road.
Wonderful country/rock-and-roll music!
This is by far the best 'best-of' cd I have ever bought. I didn't know of steve earle before, and this is a great introduction. Every song is good, and i can't imagine someone not loving it, unless they truly dislike the country and/or rock-and-roll genres.
