AWFUL QUALITY - BAD BAD BAD TRANSFER1
THIS DVD IS ABSOLUTE CRAP QUALITY - WORSE THAN AN AGED VHS!

THE SOUND ONLY COMES OUT OF THE LEFT SPEAKER - AND IS NASTY QUALITY THROUGHOUT. AND...THE CREDITS ARE CUT OFF, THEY DIDNT RECORD IT ONTO THE DVD PAST "IN ORDER OF APPEARANCE"

TOTALLY USELESS DVD

Awesome story poor picture quality3
I'm rating this 3 stars because of the story not because of quality. I'll explain later. The plot of this movie features 6 black bikers out to get revenge on a white biker gang. Starring Gene Washington(San Francisco 49ers) Carl Eller(Minnesota Vikings) Mercury Morris (Miami Dolphins) Lem Barney (Detroit Lions) Willie Lanier (Kansas City Chiefs & ''Mean'' Joe Greene(Pittsburgh Steelers). Plus many other NFL football players from the 1970's as the rival biker gang. Bubba & his 5 buddies have just been discharged from the army after serving in Vietnam. On the way back to their homes Bubba receives a general delivery letter giving him the tragic news his brother Eddie was murdered. The letter is from Bubba's mama who begs him not to investigate just leave it alone. The movie begins with Eddie being killed on a football field at night. Seems he was dating Jenny King a white girl whose brother Moose is the leader of a huge & rough biker gang. These scenes are poorly lit & viewers can barely tell they're seeing a football field never mind it's supposed to be night. A few character parts are overplayed a bit as well. The guys stop at a beer & truck stop along the way. They are treated very rudely by white patrons & especially by Flora who owns the place. Why would anyone start trouble with these tough muscular dudes? No wonder they tore the place apart on their way out! Next Bubba goes to a hometown bar looking for info. The customer who gives him help is happy to oblige-after Bubba buys him a few beers! The actor playing this role is great but the role of the bartender doesn't work as well. And when Bubba goes to the police station seeking help it only gets worse. The role of officer Bill is played by actor Sam Goodlue. He delivers his lines with almost no emotions at all. Simply awful acting. At the rumble at the end of the movie the 6 blacks have the upper hand-until Snake puts a lit flare in his gas tank & aims it straight for them! I wonder why they cut off the credits at the end? Also I feel the picture is fair because this movie was obviously very low budget not because of the dvd transfer. Anyway it's great fun. Enjoy!

The Black 6 With Football's Mean Joe Green4
Unlike the other review, we had NO problems with sound quality. This movie may seem like a "Bootleg" or a bad copy to some. You have to consider that the movie orginally only came on VHS or Hi-Fi reel to reel. this is the first movie that mean Joe Green acted in and it shows in some areas. As a foorball fan and a fan of this area of movies. I give it a 4 out of 5.
