Vehicles with certain factory anti-theft systems such as VATS - P.A.T.S. - Passlock - Passlock 2 - Passkey 3 - Securlock - Transponder - and Saturn security systems will also require the Universal Alarm Bypass Module (model 20402, 27402, or 29402) or a similar device for installation of any remote starter. Extra parts (such as 30 Amp relays) may be required for installation on certain vehicles. Most vehicles will not require extra parts.
