Run with us once more!5
The Gemini Award-winning tv series has long stood proudly as an incredible achievement in Canadian cartooning, and now it has finally been brought to DVD! Bert Raccoon's adventures in the Evergreen forest are an endless stream of excitement the whole family will enjoy as much today as it did years ago. This boxed set consists of The Raccoons Discs #1-3, containing a total of nine (9) fun-filled and heart-warming episodes from the 1987 season:

Disc 1- Double Play; The Sweet Smell of Success; Blast from the Past.
Disc 2- Power Trip; The Artful Dodger; Last Legs.
Disc 3- Read No Evil; Courting Disaster; Time Trap.

Special features include cast bios, never-before-scene artwork and the ability to create one's own scenes using the special DVD-ROM features on your computer. A great collection worthy of any family or animation fan's DVD library!

Raccoons, definately a slice of good ol' Canadiana!4
Okay picture quality and sound. Crappy Box and Cover Art. And only 3 episodes per disc! (uh huh, a box set with 9 episodes!)
But the Raccoons are great fun, definately a set to buy if you are a fan!

My childhood memories are back!!!!5
Despite not watching the Raccoon's series, I do agree that if my dad was to get me this DVD, I would find out how good it was. I did watch Episodes 11,12,24,35 & 54 of the series and I saw 'The Raccoons on Ice' and 'The Lost Star' specials, which were brilliant. THAT THEME SONG!!!! (Spray: Run With Us) is the best thing. OK, so people want violence, blood and really idiotic* programmes these days, but that Bert Raccoon, hilarious, I mean, his voice sounds dreadful and all cold-like, but I love it when he says 'Hang on, Broo, hang on!!!' in 'The Sweet Smell of Success'. Too bad it was cancelled in January of last year. If I lived in Russia, I would be happy. But, the negatives of the programme are: Cyril Sneer is oh-so soft in the series, but he was like an evil villain in the series. Heck, he even nearly destroyed Earth. Also, Bentley complains so much I could rip his heart out! Anyway, please put the Raccoons back on TV, I beg of you!!!!

*On my opinion, not Bentley's dead body
