About the Artist
The six members of Eclipse are all from northern Utah and have been performing together since 1999. They have released three albums, entitled "Once", "Think Twice", and a Christmas album, called "Three Kings", which was released in October of 2003. The men of Eclipse have twice been named Regional Champions of the Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Festival (the nation’s premier showcase for vocal harmony music) and have received two nominations, including "Best Pop/Rock Album", in the Contemporary A Capella Recording Awards. Eclipse was featured in both the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. They also performed at three of the Medals Presentation Ceremonies along with daily performances at competition venues during all 17 days of the Olympics. In 2003, Eclipse was named "Best Vocal Group" at Utah’s Best of State Awards and "Group Recording Artist of the Year" at the Faith Centered Music Association’s Pearl Awards.

Unique, impressive renditions
I've honestly only heard 1 of these songs so far, and parts of others, but I had to write in about them. It's phenomenal what they do with "We Three Kings" and just the little snippets I've heard of others. Just as a service to you all out there, I had to let you know this is an amazing album and I'm buying it today! The rhythm choices and changes as well as the surprising and yet appropriate harmonies are pretty incredible. I highly recommend this album.

Amazing CD
This is probably the most enjoyable Acappella CD I have ever heard. I even listen to it all year, and if you ask my wife she knows how much I am against listening to Christmas music except in November and December. These guys are one of the most talented acappella groups I have ever heard, and I have listened to a lot of groups. Their sound is very clean and the things they are able to do with their voices... wow!! I've also seen these guys in concert and they are as amazing in concert as they are on the CD. Check out "Drummer Boy", "Three Kings" and "Go Tell It" for a fast-beat awesome display of imaginative songwriting and out-of-this-world beatboxin'. The harmonies throughout the whole CD are simply amazing. If you enjoy Acappella (and even if you don't) this CD will not only become an instant Christmas tradition, but it will drag you into wanting to hear more from these guys. Pure talent at it's finest.

Perfect Christmas Gift
I received Eclipse as a gift from a musician friend three years ago. I immediately went out and bought five copies for friends. I must own 50 Christmas CDs, and this is always the first one loaded when it is "time". I could listen to it over and over again. Treat your ears and get this CD. You will not be disappointed. "We Three Kings" is one of the most brilliant acapella songs I've ever heard. Amazing.
