Good copy.4
It's difficult to get good copies of B westerns since no major studio produced them in quantites. One is lucky to get a refurbished copy. Restored or remastered copies for this genre are few and rare indeed. This copy of a Tim McCoy western from Alpha is better than good. Picture quality is almost pristine with few noticeable scratches. This makes for easy viewing which is not often the case with other Alpha B western releases. Get this one for your collection.

"The King of B-Westerns & Serials...VCI Entertainment ~ Ghost Patrol (1936)"5
VCI Entertainment and Puritan Pictures present "Ghost Patrol"(1936) (Dolby
digitally remastered)...relive those thrilling days from the early '30s and '40s
when drama took us down the dusty trails and the plains to exciting
adventures....some of the best B-Westerns ever to grace the Saturday Matinee
Screen......the Native Americans had no better ambassador than Tim McCoy, a
former Indian language translator in real life...as Tim McCoy speaks
passionately about this country's longtime abuse of its native population by
breaking treaty after treaty...just remember double thrills, chills, mystery and
suspense...hitting the bull's eye with excitement...don't miss any of the Tim
McCoy features loaded with action that will leave you wanting more of his
B-Western adventures

Under director Sam Newfield, producer Sigmund Neufeld and Leslie Simmonds, screenplay by Wyndham Gittens, original short story by Joseph O'Donnell...the cast include Tim McCoy (Tim Caverly), Claudia Dell (Natalie Brent), Walter Miller (Dawson), Wheeler Oakman (Kincaid), Dick Curtis (Charlie), Lloyd Ingraham (Brent), Slim Whitaker (Frank), Art Dillard (Shorty), Fargo Bussey (Bill), James P. Burtis (Henry), Art Ortego (Ramon), Frank Ellis. . . . . . . . our story has Tim McCoy turned flyer and G-Man searching for an invention (ray gun) that can bring down planes...the villains involved are Walter Miller, Wheeler Oakman and Dick Curtis all favorite badmen of the B-Western...McCoy goes undercover after beening mistaken for a notorious outlaw and wanted...wonderful cast and a Grade A performance by McCoy, who must deal with the mob, sci-fi, writers of Poverty Row and still get the girl Claudia Dell in the final reel...looks like their enjoying their work.
