Awesome DVD!5
Well the boys are back, and they are better than ever! It is no wonder why they have always been my favorite band. It is very rare to find a band that cares so much about their fans, and their music, that they work their butts off to give us something new, and amazing every time. Some people, like the reviewer directly below me, are content with buying, and hearing the same songs over, and over, and over again. More power to them. Just stick to buying albums from bands that give you the same recordings of songs, with new arrangements throughout 5 different Greatest Hits albums. I will stick with Bon Jovi. A band that really cares about their fans.

I really wish I could have been at this concert. The songs sound amazing with their new direction. The picture quality is killer. The DVD comes with great extras including interactive poker with the band, and video of six songs performed live in concert in Hyde Park England. Their is also a 30 minute making of the concert, mini documentary. I can not rate this DVD high enough. Any true Bon Jovi fan will love this. Hell, anyone would love this! Rock on Bon Jovi!!!!!!!!!

Bon Jovi - Up Close & Personal4
If you want to see Bon Jovi in a relaxed, more intimate venue connecting with the audience like never before while performing a new rendition of some of their biggest hits, this is the DVD to watch! Jon's delivery in a crooner (à la Sinatra) style of some of his hugest hits like 'You Give Love a Bad Name', 'Livin' On A Prayer', 'Bad Medicine', and 'Keep the Faith' is nothing short of fantastic. He performs 'Last Man Standing', which until the release of Bon Jovi's new CD - Have A Nice Day - he had never performed live, with heart and soul. And his performance of an old, pop cover song - Sylvia's Mother - is the icing on an already very sweet cake!

Worth the Wait!5
I was one of the lucky few who was able to attend one of these special nights at the Borgata Casino in Atlantic City. One of only two performances ever of the acoustic reworked versions of old friends. While the album was innovative, the live performance was a revelation. In this intimate setting the lyrics become more meaningful. Bad Name becomes a bluesy steamy number for example. It's My Life a poignant ballad of hope. Jon had pulled two new songs off the album but they are here. If you are at all concerned and disappointed lately at the disposable nature of music today do not miss Last Man Standing. This song should be required listening for anyone involved in the music industry- Janet and Justin are you listening? If that wasn't worth the price of the DVD alone check out the cover of the old Dr. Hook classic Sylvia's Mother. This country rock version is soulful and passionate. An impromptu acoustic Love for Sale which happened the first night due to technical difficulties opened the set the second night and got the crowd going and it is included here. Other favorites not on the TLFR CD are also here such as Saturday Night and Misunderstood. The extra features all value. If you get the limited edition you get to play poker with the guys and if you win you get to see footage from their legendary Hyde Park Concert of 2003 which drew 92,000 people to the park on a Sunday in June. If you are poker challenged you can go right to the footage but playing with the guys is a lot of fun. Bon Jovi should be proud of this DVD- Tony Bongiovi, the director went out of his way to make this more than the usual concert DVD.
