He's the master4
Walter Gieseking was the premiere piano performer of Debussy compositions. This is very good, however, the recording seems just a bit hollow. I wish there was a bit less resonance in the background.

The performance is excellent, as usual.

A Foretaste of Heaven5
No one plays Debussy better than Mr Gieseking. You will be transported to an alternate reality when listening to the beauty of this music. A foretaste of heaven.

Everything was as promised- time, CD, etc. I got the CD for a friend, and he loves it, so there's nothing more that I could ask!
