Customer Reviews
COULD NOT HAVE PAINTED WITHOUT!
My husband and I will NEVER paint another room without a Shur-Line Edger! We, well mostly he, just tackled our living room which vaults up two stories and the Edger made this task possible. We had always put it off because taping a ceiling that high is a daunting task. It provides a clean, straight edge, even on textured surfaces.
Fantastic gadget!
When I looked at this cheap little plastic gizmo, I didn't have high hopes, but I thought it was worth the risk at such a reasonable price.
When I put it to use, all doubts faded. It made edging fast and, dare I say, Fun. This cut the time of the painting project in half. No taping required(except on our baseboards, which are too narrow for the wheels to rest on.) Ceiling edging and window edging were a snap. A quick follow-up with the roller and you're done.
Don't dip it too far in or you'll get paint on the tracking wheels. Scrape or brush off some of the excess after dipping. No instructions came with the product, nor did a paint pan. I used a small plastic dish.
Great invention.
It worked!
It did a great job painting the edges where the wall met the ceiling. Don't dip it in the paint: Use a brush to apply paint only to the pad. If you use a light coat of paint, it works very well.
