Sabicas The Great5
First off, this is a solo album. When I say that I mean there's no cante. However, this is a re-master of some of Sabicas's older songs. There are a couple of allegedly unreleased tracks on this album. This is hands down my favorite "solo" Sabicas album. It sounds simply great. The inlay is also worth mentioning too, it's well put together and tell's the story about how the album came to be. It may be pricey but this is a great album.

Best flamenco guitarist I've ever heard.5
I've listened to many flamenco guitarists over the years and have never heard anyone play as well as Sabicas.
He can play solo, with dancers,{especially Carmen Amaya), and singers. He's the real deal. A true gypsy.

The Elektra recordings5
I don't possess this particular album; but it seems to be drawn largely from volumes 1 & 3 of the 3-LP set (which I do possess) that Sabicas recorded for Elektra in 1957-8, with a few extra tracks thrown in:

Tracks 1-10 are the whole of Volume 1.
Tracks 14-19 are 6 of the 11 tracks from Volume 3.

Those albums, with Flamenco Puro, were milestones for the flamenco guitar.

I'm unaware of any other way of getting the tracks from Volume 3 on CD; but if you have La Guitarra Flamenca, you already have all the tracks from Volumes 1 & 2.

There are a few typos in Amazon's track listing:

14) should be Salinas Gaditanas, not Gaitanas .
15) should be Solera Gitana, not Solea.
19) is a Taranta, not a Tanranta.

That said, this is terrific stuff.
