Customer Reviews

DO NOT BUY FROM Caiman.com3
The film quality is OK and it is a good 3 piece selection. The problem I have is the Vendor, Caiman.com. The DVD skips and appears corrupted in spots and after 3 emails to Caiman's "automated" customer service link, claire@caiman.com., I've received no reply on my issue. My recommendation is not to buy from Caiman.com as they are unresponsive and apparently no one is on board to help, should there be an issue. I've had good success with MovieWeb and Alphacraze.

SYNOPSES--

QUICKSAND stars Mickey Rooney as an auto mechanic who borrows $20 from the garage cash register so he can take a new girlfriend out to dinner. When this discrepancy is discovered before the unlucky fellow can replace the missing money, it unleashes a downward spiral of events that must be seen to be believed. Watch here for Jimmie Dodd (future Head Mouseketeer on "The Mickey Mouse Club"), strange-eyed Jack Elam as a man at the bar, also for a beautiful '49 Packard convertible.

Fritz Lang's SCARLET STREET features Eddie Robinson as a lonely middle-aged man who is taken advantage of by a scheming woman (Joan Bennett) and her thuggish boyfriend (Dan Duryea in a great villain role). Believing Robinson a wealthy painter, the two bilk him for all he's worth (more than he's worth, actually).

SUDDENLY is one of two movies Frank Sinatra had removed from circulation following the assassination of JFK (the other was "The Manchurian Candidate"). Here, Frank heads a crew out to kill the President when he disembarks from a train at a small town.

Another triple feature from VINTAGE HOME ENTERTAINMENT is LOST IN LOVE. Stars: Sarah Jessica Parker, Goldie Hawn and Heather Graham.
