The second volume in the Sequoia label's Cafe de Luna series starts off with the ethereal voices and robust beats. You'll be rewarded with Joe Weineck's funky `Breakfast on Neptune' and Ginkgo Garden's downright rollicking `Journey of the Clouds,' not to mention a gorgeous and trip-hoppy arrangement of the traditional Irish song `She Moved Through the Fair' by Alguímia and a nice jazz-funk workout by Althea W titled `Pacifist.' In the context of these relatively muscular numbers, the gentler and less compelling tracks feel less like new age filler and more like a wise programming choice. Recommended.

Cafe De Luna 2 is a Musical Summer Vacation !
The second in the Cafe De Luna series, Cafe De Luna 2: Mediterannean Chill is like a musical Summer vaction to Ibiza. This is a very cool set of pure downtempo chill-out grooves with a distinctly European flavor. This music is perfect for relaxing to while upbeat enough to keep the listener engaged. I have found this to be the perfect music for setting just the right mood at dinner parties with friends or driving along your favorite stretch of coast road on a warm summer day, or just popping on when you need a reminder that there are those unforgettable summer days that seem to drift on for an eternity. I highly recomend both this CD and it's predecessor.

Sensual

Soft, light music, but fluid/moving, sensual, with a Mediterranean feel. Relaxing music to play in the background while chilling out, cooking, driving, entertaining. 14 tracks from a variety of artists, each track is selected by the Gordon Brothers (Steve and Dave), who have numerous albums on the market of outstanding and very relaxing music.

Love that there's 2!
Awesome grooves here perfect for having friends over to your cabana in Figi or lounging in a lawn chair by your above ground pool. Either way this album makes you feel relaxed and swept away. I have to say that I switch between this and Café de Luna frequently and am thrilled that there are now two, my Vol 1 was getting very tired!
