Excellent Gift Idea
I wonder if the other reviewer actually read the agreement with the gift card: Apple does not take an extra 15 cents. It stays in your account and as you acquire more gift cards it accumulates. Up to two years if memory serves.

Anyway my daughter LOVES getting the cards. In fact she came to me to ask about doing chores to get iTunes. I gave her a list of chores and before she finished them I had her gift certificate printed out.

And gift shopping doesn't get any easier than this when you have a music lover recipient! You can email a gift certificate as well so you don't even have to pay for shipping!

A great way to turn cash into songs
I picked up a few of these at Target a while back, but this makes it even easier to get them for my son and to give as birthday gifts to all his teeny-bopper-music- fiend friends.

Free music!
I got this Prepaid Card as a promotional offer from Amazon when I bought my iPod (which was also on sale). I use iTunes frequently - 15 free dollars worth of songs is definitely a nice gift! Plus, it came early. My only negative thought on it was that the little credit-card-sized card was packed in a box bigger than a shoebox, which seems very wasteful to me. They could've just slapped it in an envelope and save the paper and packing materials.
