The soundtrack to Disney's 2004 Cinderella sequel The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement offers a wide variety of young Disney stars (Raven--who has a small part in the movie--Lindsay Lohan, Jesse McCartney, Christy Carlson Romano), hot vocalists (American Idol's Kelly Clarkson, Norah Jones), and head-banging rockers (Avril Lavigne, Pink). The best tracks are Clarkson's "Breakaway," Raven's "This Is My Time," Renee Olstead's Norah-esque "A Love That Will Last," and "Your Crowning Glory," a duet between Raven and Julie Andrews. It's not a flashy showcase for Andrews, who begins it in a half-sung, half-spoken style before Raven joins her to a funky beat. This is a good soundtrack
This is an excellent soundtrack. I loved the Kelly Clarkson's song Breakaway. It is a great song about becoming independent and making your own choices in life. Kelly Clarkson has a great voice and sounds great on this song The video for Breakaway is included on this soundtrack. It is very fun to watch. Lindsay Lohan has a very good voice. She performs an excellent song entitled I Decide on this soundtrack. This song is also about making your own decisions in life.

I loved the song This is My Time by Raven. The message of this song is that your dreams cone true if you believe in yourself and that nothing is impossible. Raven is a talented singer with a nice vocal range. This song is definitely a highlight on this soundtrack for me. I loved the track Trouble By Pink. This is an very energetic song that just makes me want to dance. Pink is an awesome performer and sings this song well. Norah Jones lends her talents singing the song Love Me Tender. This song is very relaxing and soothing. I really enjoyed it.

The song Miracles Happen by Jonny Blu is very interesting. Part of this song is performed in English and part of this song is performed in Chinese. It is always interesting to me to hear a foreign language on a pop song. I really enjoyed this track. I think this song sounds really neat.


The duet Your Crowning Glory with Julie Andrews and Raven is very cute and playful. I liked listening to this song very much. The Princess Diaries 2 soundtrack has some great music. I really enjoyed it.

Fantastic (Kelly is the best)!
First appologize my bad English, because I am from Germany. I bought this CD only for Kelly Clarkson's Breakaway. It is the best song Kelly sing since I heard here in American Idol. It is a fantasic song. The other songs on this CD are o.k., too.

Kelly is the highlight just my thoughts...
Hey all! Sorry, but i bought this soundtrack knowing that most of it would suck as I wasn't a huge PD fan. I bought it however just for breakaway by Clarkson because i heard the song and loved it and love all Kelly's other music. Whoever said that this c.d. was worth it just cause of Clarkson's song is so right and also the person that said that this was arguably her best song I so aggree. There are a few other hits. This is my time, and dance, dance, dance, and that one about more stars shine in the sky it might be because you live not sure. anyway just wanted to say my thoughts and give props to Kelly for the best song on here so worth the one song!!!
