One of the reasons for this is the innovative flies he has developed or modified from existing patterns to increase interest by these large fish. In this DVD Kelly shares his patterns as well as the information that provided the impetus for these patterns as well as how to select the correct materials to realize the full potential of these patterns to attract the attention of very large trout. The filming is very good with only a few scenes where you can not see what is being described because of poor camera positioning. The script could use a revision as there is a little too much repetition. The sound, and editing are excellent as is the lighting. Kelly Galloup is a fly fishing and tying author, lecturer, guide, and exceptional angler. About the Director
Gene Hering is an award winning producer and videographer of fly fishing and outdoor titles. His credits include over three hundred national television programs and more than fifty instructional videos. Fly Fish Television Magazine, Fishing the West, America s Outdoor Journal, Northwest Hunter, and Pacific Outdoors are all programs he has directed, shot, and edited. Hering began his career as a television journalist; first in Wisconsin, then in New Mexico, and finally in Oregon. He now resides in Camas, Washington where he produces a complete line of instructional and destination fly fishing videos, as well as doing marketing productions for the fishing industry.
