This is sweet, innocent fare, with universally good themes without being preachy. My 3 year old is following stories now, and has added Clifford and Little Bear to her repertoire of Elmo and Blue's Clues, but her 6 and 7 year old friends still like this series. This particular DVD is one of the better ones, I think, since instead of the usual 8 episodes it has 10. In addition to the usual lessons about friendship and good manners, there is also a story about when Clifford first gets his doghouse. Nothing scary, nothing objectionable, just wholesome fun. Highly recommended.

clifford is great
My son is only 15 months but he loves Clifford. He doesn't watch all of the show, but it does keep his interest. I guess because Clifford is so colorful. Clifford is very educational in teaching about feelings. I know this DVD will come in handy for the next few years. Great purchase.

Great Choice for Preschoolers

This DVD has an exceptional assortment of Clifford stories. The lessons about being considerate and honest come across in fun tales, such as dogs caught up in stinkweed and Jetta's infatuation with a new robot dog. There is never anything frightening, violent or objectionable, so I can relax while my two preschoolers are watching.
