Great filter system, had one just like it for 5 years still worked, chrome plastic and replaced it with the brush stainless finish.

Pur Ultimate begins leaking around faucet after 6 months.
This is my third Pur Ultimate faucet filter. All three leak at the faucet connection after about 6 months of use- unacceptible. I had them installed by different plumbers, so it's not an installation error. Guess I'll go back to the filter-pitcher, because at $60 for this filter, they can't figure out how to make them last.

Exactly what I expected.

While the brushed stainless doesn't match my sink exactly - - it looks far better than the chrome would. :)
It was a breeze to install, and use. The water doesn't come out of the filter as gently as I would have like it to, but that's hardly something to complain about.
All in all a great buy. :)
