DJ Andy Gets My Respect
What do we have here. An selection of artists and tracks which, with a few notable exceptions, made hardly a dent in anyones conciousness, let alone the charts.
But Mr Smith has done such a fine job with this mix I can't bring myself to call him by his first name. He deserves our respect because of the respect he has shown to the music and the era that it comes from.
It will not give you any idea of of what this CD sounds like, (but it may give you a feel for the just plain dancing/fun mood) but when I first listened I thought 'Dimitri of Paris meets '70's disco'.
But it is better than that. It's wonderful.
