Good adaptation of a cute novel4
This is a pretty good adaptation of Cara Lockwood's novel of the same name, although as any book to movie transition, a lot of left on the cutting room floor. But what is captured is the chemistry of the leads, Lauren and Nick, as well as the deviousness of the psycho-bride, Darla.

Basically, it is the story of a harried wedding planner in the middle of a divorce who meets the fireman of her dreams, only to discover that he may be the groom in an upcoming wedding.

Really charming and romantic!

I saw this movie on Australian TV a few months ago and loved it and knew I had to have it as part of my DVD collection.

I have been a huge fan of Dean Cain since he was in Lois and Clark and have been following his career ever since. I was never a real fan of Denise Richards until I saw her in this movie. Both actors shine in their roles and you know they both had great fun making this movie.

I recommend this to movie to anyone who is looking for a few hours of fun and and of course a happy ending...which is what we are all looking for.

Unpleasantly Suprised1
Save yourself, don't waste two hours that you can never get back. Dean Cain is still as good-looking as ever, but he can't surmount the horrible script, riddled with obvious chick-flick cliches. The movie only loosely (very loosely) follows the brief blurb written on the back of the dvd.
