Vintage Sarah Concert!4
From reading some of the reviews here, I do agree that the picture and audio quality that we are used to nowadays is a little off on this DVD. However, I'm guessing that the '94 concert footage was shot with a low budget camera (not digital) with standard audio capture... so I think of it as watching a VHS quality tape... but on a DVD. Keep in mind that Sarah was just beginning to break out of her shell at this time... meaning there was probably less investment from her record company.

As for the interview segments that are mixed between songs... I'm sure it was a tactic to keep the content from being too repetitive... plus this footage was released on VHS so they couldn't separate the concert and interview segments like they could if it was being shot for DVD originally. Nowadays, Sarah has released her concerts as a whole. Check out "Mirrorball" (1999) and "Afterglow Live" (2004). The audio and video quality of these concert DVDs showcase the current technology and the interviews are now separate features.

However, I do recommend this FTE: Live DVD because it does showcase Sarah in her earlier days when her success was moderate... plus she plays songs from her first two records, which is now a rarity when you see Sarah live. For long-time Sarah fans, that time marked the end of an era because Sarah would reach international stardom in the next few years with the release of her follow-up album "Surfacing" and the concert event known as "Lilith Fair."

Amazing! Beauty! Romantic! Serious pop.4
Very Good! Sarah gives a lesson of simplicity and inspiration. An ethereal show. the interviews shows an simpathyc person ans a simple girl with very deep talent. Absolutely spiritual! She shows that the music could be simple and touch the heart! long live Sarah!!!

Sarah At Her Best5
In my opinion, Fumbling Towards Ecstasy was Sarah McLachlan's best album. So why not have her first live recording on DVD. It was very great. I love how in between each song, Sarah and her producer and co-songwriter of some of her songs, Pierre Marchland talked about music.

P.S. to Ashwin and Dave-Get new haircuts because those 'dos will never win Sarah's heart.
