Except for a few funny moments, pretty much a bore. The director Barry Sonnenfeld must have believed that the best part of the original was not its hip, mordant wit but the conventionally junky sequence at the end in which Will Smith got smacked around a lot and doused in slime. "MIIB" is mostly dull physical comedy and slapstick special effects, and it seems to have been made for unusually literal-minded children. With Tommy Lee Jones and Lara Flynn Boyle as Serleena, an evil Kylothian monster with many long tongues. -David Denby

MIB1&2
Total, all-out fun. A few touching moments, but otherwise, Smith and Jones play off each other so well. Tommy Lee Jones' ability to be deadpan in any situation is incredible. Will Smith is non-stop hyper, Jones is slow and steady. Awesome combo, good supporting players. For anyone who likes a lot of laughs, wacky characters, and tons of action and slime, I would highly recommend this combo.

Classic Science Fiction
Can't go wrong with this classic science fiction combo of Men in Black and it's sequel, Men in Black II. My daughter loves these movies... Word of caution: there is some [mild for these times] foul language so just ensure age appropriateness for your audience.

MIB Collection Review
The Men in Black (MIB) collection is a good set to have if you like comedies, aliens, Will Smith or Tommy Lee Jones. It isn't your typical aliens trying to take over sort of movie but it is the kind of movie you can sit down with your family and have a popcorn night with.
