Be Careful Before You Buy!
Honestly, I have never viewed this DVD, and have no idea if it's good or not. But considering that many people, like myself, shell out their money based on good Amazon reviews, the fact that practically all the reviews here have obvioiusly been written by the makers of the DVD, is very shameful. Most of the "reviewers" have only a few reviews- all only about other videos made by this company. The reviews all sound like they were written by the same person. Bottom line is: maybe this is a great video, but find this out independently, and not based on these reviews. I'm just going to buy a different salsa dvd.

Fresh Combinations
I bought this DVD for a very different reason than most who've reviewed the product on this site. I wasn't really looking to Learn Salsa but rather improve my Salsa dancing. I am very familiar with Salsa but I'm not very good at improvising so my goal for the DVD was to learn some different combinations that I can incorporate to the dance moves that I'm already familiar with. The DVD worked out well for me. The lessons were fast-paced enough to keep me interested and not only did I learn some good combinations but some new shines and crossovers too.

Best salsa DVD's out there
If you want to learn salsa, not just watch dancers show off, the Salsa Crazy series are the ones to get. The presenter is a local celebrity in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have taken his classes and find this DVD a good refresher. This intermediate volume anticipates that you know at least: crossbody lead, inside and outside turns as well as hook step. There are a number of great patterns that fit well in a club atmosphere. This is a DVD that you will watch over and over again - step patterns are ON2.
