Customer Reviews
Reminds me of my Childhood
These DVDs take me back to my childhood. I just love Marlin Perkins! Now he reminds me of spending time with my grandfather watching these shows when i was a kid, Love these! They are GREAT!
Great wildlife videos
I have all 8 of the available "Wild Kingdom" sets, and they are great. A few (2 or 3) of the episodes in the 8 sets (80 episodes) are made from clips of other episodes, so occasionally a minute or two is repeated in those, but mostly each is unique (contrary to the review below where someone claimed it was the same as another set due to a packaging error). "Wild Kingdom" was probably my favorite TV program as a child, and now my 3-year-old loves them and wants to watch them every day. They are very clean entertainment for kids, as well as educational.
Disc contents does not match label or box
Like another reviewer, I have purchased this disk set and been disheartened to find the contents of the discs do not match the labels. The "Mammals of North America" set is masquerading as "Dangerous Encounters". Even worse, I have now returned this set once for replacement, and received a SECOND erroneous set of discs. It's the manufacturer's fault. They should have a recall on their website. There's not much the vendors can do.
