A Fantastic Light
All the benefits of an LED light, but with more power and a reflector that creates a fantastic beam.

The only other light I would buy would be a bigger Luxeon. Standard AA batteries work well and I recommend everyone get rechargable AA and AAA, and a charger, of course. (Unless you plan to store the light in a car, cabin, etc - then use alkalines)

This light is a great size, works well, fits in a coat pocket, has easy on-off end of light button. Buy it. Buy more than one.

Long battery life, strong even beam.
I am still on my original set of batteries and I have owned this light for more than a year! The light has a blue tint, which is typical of most LED lights. This light is much brighter that a Mini-Mag light but not nearly as bright as a Surefire G2. This Streamlight is my go-to light for my typical around the house needs. I use a Surefire G2 for my outdoor activities when I need a really bright small flashlight.
