Euge Groove Just Feels Right 5
I was unaware of who this sax player was and that he has so many songs on the radio until about a month ago, I heard this cd to be released. The song was 12:08 am and I was amazed. You know, there are songs thru the years that sing to your soul, and this is one of them. There are several other songs on this cd that sing to the soul as well. I am enjoying listening to Just Feels Right almost everyday.

Euge is at his best..........Again!!!5
Euge is still following his proven, "Can't Miss," formula! This CD is another one of his powerhouses and showcases his talents not only on tenor this time, but the soprano and alto sax as well. Euge has found another nice smooth jazz niche by fusing smooth jazz while incorporating a bit of old school feel to the music in this CD. The result is another masterpiece. Euge constantly produces CD's that you really don't need to hear first before you buy; you simply pick it up and know it's going to be good. Get em goin' which was the trailer on his web site before the CD was released, is simply smoking. Euge plays tenor on this track and "Boy is this one going to sound great in concert!" Chillin, is another track that is sure to please and will remind you of his previous CDs. Two exceptionally relaxing cuts are, "Just my imagination," and "This must be real." Both are slow, melodic and relaxing. Just my imagination puts you back into the 70s' with its laid back beat. The track, "Just feels right," has Euge playing soprano again and does just what the name implies, the song does "Just feel right." The cut, "12:08," is truly relaxing. Pour yourself a glass of wine with this one, sit back in your favorite chair and relax, because this entire CD is another testament to Euges' dedication to his music, writing, and the art of saxophone playing. This entire CD, just sounds right, and "just feels right." Better pick yourself up a copy, you won't be disappointed.

Good For Relaxing, But Not His Best Work2
The fact that Euge wanted to use equipment no later than 1976 did facinate me. However, even with the great collaborators he worked with, this was not Euge's best work, I'd expected way more effort than his previous albums. The only song I liked in the album was "Chillaxin." Other than that nothing else caught my attention.

My biggest problem are the interludes in the CD's. While some CD's include just one interlude, there is no reason valuable space on a CD shouldn't be wasted on 3 INTERLUDES!!! To me, that's laziness not creativity. Because of these interludes, this CD is one of the shortest playing CD's I have.

Other than that, this CD is good on a slow relaxing day if you don't mind changing CDs in a short time. I'd rather keep listening to his Livin Large CD.
