The pan pictured in the Ad, is not the pan they sent me.
Calphalon Traditional Simply Nonstick 5 Quart Saute Pan with Lid


The picture of the above pan in the advertisement has a stainless steel looking bottom, with a glass lid. The pan that I received has a dark metal bottom and a metal lid.

I knew immediately that this was not the pan that I ordered, and I called Amazon the minute that I received this pan. The woman on the phone told me that they would be mailing me a postage free label to return the pan and I would get a full refund. Well, I waited and I never received any postage free label in the mail.

I have bought other things from Amazon, and have always been completely satisfied with the order, the quality and the merchandise purchased.

So I suspect that this was an oversight at Amazon. However, I have had this pan for so long now, that I decided the heck with it, and I began using it. It is a Fantastic pan, I love it. So I am rating this pan that I received a 5, because it is a great pan.

Its NOT however the pan that I ordered and paid for. I just wish that I had the glass lid, because thats the only reason that I ordered that pan in the first place.... because it HAD A GLASS LID.

Just got mine today
This is a fabulous pan; it came this afternoon and I could barely get it washed before my husband was using it; it did everything a wonderful pan should do, and cleaned up like a charm.

The best review I can give you is that the entire time he was using this pan, my husband just kept saying, "This is a GREAT pan." (I'm glad he loves it!)

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS PAN!!!
I was using a stainless steel "chicken fryer" but it was sooooo heavy. This Calphalon pan is wonderful! It's light yet sturdy. The heat was evenly distributed and I had no "cold" spots. I don't even mind the unusual handle. I could grip it comfortably. I thought my previous pan was big but it actually fit inside the Calphalon pan. It was money well spent. I am very pleased with the pan. I bought a new set of hard anodized cookware less than a year ago and I'm very sorry it wasn't Calphalon.
