Average customer review:Product Description
Chuck Norris proves he has nine lives and an alter ego in this hard-hitting thriller set in the dark underworld of warring mobs in the Pacific Northwest and Canada. Good cop Cliff Garrett (Norris) is betrayed and left for dead by his crooked partner (Michael Parks). Miraculously he survives - and thunderously he'll have his revenge. Going undercover as a cold-as-ice, precision hitman for hire by the mob, he earns the reputation and trust needed to infiltrate the city's murderous, drug-dealing criminal infrastructure. It's all prelude to bringing it all down - in unmistakably lean, mean Norris style.

One of Chuck's best films!
"The Hit Man" is one of my favorite Chuck Norris movies, primarily because of the complexity of the character he portrays. On the one hand, he is a cold-blooded, heartless, murderous brute who can blow away a cohort from point-blank range without batting an eye; on the other hand, he shows a genuine caring and depth of feeling that is completely opposite from the hit man persona. The film is quite violent, and one scene showing the revenge of one mob against the other shouldn't be viewed by anyone with a weak stomach. But fans of Chuck will be kept entertained from beginning to end. And the bad guy gets his just reward in the most perfect way in the end.
Hitman is a nastier Norris movie and Chuck's best!
The Hitman gives us a darker more brutal and vile Chuck Norris who is also a very sensitive and moral guy too. He's a deadly vile hitman with a heart! Michael Parkes is in this one too as an over-the-top evil doer who makes other movie bad guys look pale and shoulda got an Academy Award! Really he's that amazing! The combo of a crazed Parkes and a nasty Norris make this violent, and even xenophobic, bloody mess a real gem. This is one fun flick and Norris' best!
Chuck Norris at his Best
I became a fan of Chuck Norris after reading his autobiography. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of most his movies. But "The Hitman" is an exception. It is an excellent film and ranks with "Invasion USA" as Chuck Norris' best.
Norris plays a cop who is shot and left for dead by a corrupt colleague. He then assumes a new identity and infiltrates the Seattle mafia who are battling with Vancouver-based mobsters for control of the drug trade. When Iranian drug dealers move in, total war breaks out between the three groups.
Probably the best scene in any Chuck Norris film is when he walks into an Arab restaurant and single-handedly takes on the Iranian drug dealers. Let's just say that it is politically incorrect action film-making at its best!
I highly recommend this film, even for people who usually don't like Chuck Norris flicks.
