Peter Weller (Robocop) and Robert Hays (Airplane) are adventurers with a cause - their own - as they rip through the jungle on a stop-at-nothing quest for truth, justice and the American dollar. Two two buddies run into each other on a remote South Seas island where revolution is a daily happening. Recruited by the CIA to overthrow a power-mad dictator, their mission is to raise an army. But the choices are few and the odds are high - until a beautiful freedom fighter shows them the way. Battling the odds and themselves, these two mercenaries become something they never thought they would - heroes. From the writers of Pale Rider and Code of Silence, Fifty/Fifty does nothing by half: it's 100% fast, friendly fun.

Funny Film
This film is fun if your into, silly heroic macho type films, like me. Weller and hayes are good, nice to finally see hayes in something other than airplane. Sort of a light hearted action comedy. If you like watching the A-Team you'll probably like this.
Fifty/Fifty is 100% fun!
This is one of Cannon's more fun and yet lesser known films. What starts out as a sort of buddy comedy eventually turns into a blast of an action film that is also part war drama.
Peter Weller (RoboCop) and Robert Hays (Airplane!) play well off one another, and make for convincing action stars.
The dvd is bare bones and it would've been nice to have at last a commentary track, but the movie is still very enjoyable. I highly recommend.
