very good albums
I've been looking for both albums on CD since we had LP's for both thanks to Amazon for this rare opportunity, to be able to here this greatest saxophonist of all time.My all time favourite on "SWEET SOUL" is "sweet inspiration"
Smooth Groove
Sound quality very good, the CD it self there's none to compare what King Curtis did with this album, the song s he choose to play, and the musicianship, and the arrangements
One of the last great recordings
If you enjoy King Curtis you should purchase this cd for your collection. I grew up listening to this album and it is without a doubt one of the last great recordings of King Curtis before he was murdered in New York City on August 13, 1971. You will not be disappointed the sampler does not even come close to the full version.
