If you need to rip a lot of CDs then this is a great sanity saver.
I'd been wanting to rerip my CD collection for a few years in order to take advantage of having more drive space and to get better sound quality out of my iPod. However, I couldn't face the tedium of hours and hours of inserting and removing discs for weeks on end. I did some poking around and found the DupliQ, which works as a CD ripper in conjunction with a piece of software called dBpoweramp. Just make sure you download the dBpoweramp batch ripper application that works with this device. You just load up the hopper with twenty-five discs and walk away for a couple of hours while it works. I was able to rip 1,700+ discs in less than a month. It's a specialized device and a little pricey, but the savings in time and headaches made it well worth it for me.
