okay, but definitely not great
works when using 1/4" staples, but nothing larger. i bought it hoping to use 1/2" staples, but when using these you must hammer each one in after stapling. also, the trigger is quite hard to pull; i have to use both hands to pull it properly.

Excellent Staple Gun
This is a very solid, well-built staple gun. It's easy to load staples and is powerful enough to fire a staple into solid wood. It's a little harder to pull the handle than my previous Craftsman but not so bad as to alter my recommendation.
