Product Description
The Cave Temples of India may seem an unlikely place to research the future of 21st century physics, economics or political science. But embodied there in stone temples and sculptures more than 1500 years old is a knowledge of how our universe operates that dwarfs our present comprehension and opens the door for our culture’s next stage of growth. Even more, these temples give operative demonstration of powerful and effective ways to work with that knowledge for our own health, wisdom, and well-being, and that of all Creation.
The sculptures in these temples employ an unlikely palette of tools – empowered geometry, intention, passion, stillness, and coherence – all means of working through the realms of life-force energy (chi or prana). These design elements enable the sculptures to act as sophisticated tools for chakra meditation, for healing, for direct connection with the sacred and other consciousness, and for accessing understanding of how our universe operates.
Quantum physics led to our acknowledgement of the instantaneous interconnectedness and consciousness of all Creation. Indian science explains, and these temples demonstrate, its significance in how the universe works. Adding the realms of life-force energy to our understanding of physics is giving powerful transformation to it, to our other sciences, and to the culture we build upon them.

About the Actor
Architect, author, strategic planner, and feng-shui practitioner, Tom Bender is one of the original founders of the "green architecture" and "sustainability" movements. His path-breaking and award-winning research, writing, and architectural design over the last 35 years has spanned the gamut from technical tools such as solar design to the spiritual roots of our cultural problems. The "Factor 10" principles he has developed for institutional rethinking, shown to achieve order-of-magnitude improvements in effectiveness and sustainability, have been endorsed by the governments of Austria, Sweden, the Netherlands, Norway, as well as the European Union, the OECD environmental ministers, the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, and United Nations Environmental Program.
An international expert in the field of feng shui, Bender's depth of experience in both the theoretical and practical application of working with subtle energies in our surroundings has been a vital element in the acknowledgment of chi energy occurring in our culture today. In the architectural field, he is known as the architect who is restoring soul to our surroundings and sustainability to our communities. His Silence, Song and Shadows and Building with the Breath of Life show how our surroundings can heal the diseases of the spirit that plague our culture, and restore our connection with the rest of nature.

Is this a JOKE?
I have done a lot of work on Indian cave temples, so I was really looking forward at least to nice pictures of the caves. This DVD is downright painful to watch. It is definitely a New Age view of religion and Hindu philosophy. It has some nuggets of interest- IF you already know what he is talking about! Most of it just trash, and there are only about ten minutes, maybe twenty, of the caves. They are all jumbled together- so unless you know which cave you are seeing, you have no idea what you are looking at. Is this Ajanta? Ellora? Elephanta? Some of the images he selects are completely anachronistic, and more than half of the video isn't about India at all. It is more random thoughts about religions and cults around the world and through time.
If you are New Ager into energies and life forces, this is pretty to look at (except the occasional blank black screen... what is THAT about???) If you want to know something about the cave temples of India... look elsewhere.
