Customer Reviews
This One Worked Right Out Of The Box
Having read about the problems others have had with memory storage in their digital cameras, I was apprehensive about buying the cheaper brands of storage, especially the 120x version. I wanted a lot of bang for my buck and still remain confident that it would work. Transcends' Compact Flash card not only formatted correctly the first time, its' speed never faltered. I purchased Canons' new XTi which came with no memory, and was pleasantly surprised when I slipped the 4GB card in and scrolled to the format position on the menu and selected format. The card was formatted and ready in a matter of seconds. I quickly took about 10 pictures in raw and downloaded them to the computer... 0 problems. I reformatted the card, and took 40 to 50 repeat shots as fast as the camera would take them. There was only minimal lag time when I took the indoor pictures. The outdoor pictures just clicked away. I am very satisfied with the Transcend 4GB compact flash card and will purchase one or two more of these in the near future.
gamble
My card started with 10% corrupt pictures from Nikon d200. After a few months it is no longer recognized in the camera or card readers. Emails to transcend have gone unanswered.
Does what it's supposed to
It has worked so far as any CompactFlash card should. I have not had any problems of performance with it. I cannot compare it with any other since this is my only one. It seemed like a good price.
