Product Description

Melody Sails (martial arts champion Mimi Lesseos) is a special forces commando turned journalist living in Los Angeles. While covering a story on the street kids of L.A., she comes across a child prostitution racket run by the mysterious crime lord, Lunar. When a teenage girl turns up murdered in a back alley, Melody's desire for justice takes over. Stripped down for action, she's a swift-kicking, hard-hitting, bone breaking machine. Melody's body is a deadly weapon whether she uses it to attack - or seduce - there's only one thing you can be sure of: you don't want to get on the wrong side of this lady, because when she kicks, she kills! From director Richard Elfman (Forbidden Zone, Shrunken Heads).

Mimi should appeal her fight action much more5
This is my favorite movie, and I like her fight action scene. But she (Mimi Lesseos) should appeal her fight action much much ... much more !!! I think she demonstrates only 10% of her fight skills.

A succint review2
I saw this movie some years ago. In terms of her acting capability, Mimi Lesseos makes Cynthia Rothrock look like Meryl Streep.

"Streets of Mediocrity"1
I bought "Streets of Rage" purely on the strength of the alleged director, the master Richard Elfman. To say the least, I was a bit upset to find out that he only co-wrote it. This was probably only to get into the star's pants. I hope it worked, because this movie was poo.
