Customer Reviews

Perfect size for a tiny mouth4
From the first week, our little one always had a hand or bottle in her mouth. If she couldn't find either, she'd root around and fuss, so we began to look for pacifiers to help soothe her frustrations between meals. We tried Gerber, Playtex, and several other brands, but she didn't take well to any of them. The faceplates were large, the nipples weren't formed well for her small mouth, and they felt flimsy.
The Avent pacifier was a blessing when we found it! Not only was it a better size and durable, but they have covers for the nipple so that they can stay cleaner. They've held up for over a month, now, and she still seems to enjoy the feel and the soothing effect they give.
My only complaints are the price -- other pacifiers are closer to $2 each, these run around $2.50-$3 depending on where you get them -- and I have a difficult time finding them in stores. But, they do last awhile, so both are only minor blips on an otherwise outstanding product.

Works Great--Too Bad it Has BPA in Them3
My friend gave me 2 packs of Soothies, which she said her some of her kids would not do without. Unfortunately, my son hated them (babies don't care if what you give them is BPA or not). The Soothies were too big for his mouth and were not contoured to fit his mouth--it just looked clunky. Then I tried using some of the old pacis she had and this one worked perfectly on him. He will not use any other paci, even a 3-6M Avent paci (he is 6M); unfortunately, now that I am looking for new Avent pacis for him--I see that it is not BPA-free... darn. I don't know what else is comparable that he will accept other than this, and I don't want to waste money on pacis that won't work. Hopefully Avent will learn and create a non-BPA paci in this design/size.

Love the cap5
I love Avent's pacifiers. They last long, don't have that funky smell that some pacifiers have, and I especially love the cap. Makes it easy to take the pacifier anywhere without it getting dirty.
