"No stoppin to HeadBoppin" 5
Paul Weimar "Shilts" is a talented Saxophonist from the UK who has put together an outstanding project with the help of co-producer Rick Braun. "Shilts" you may know as the front man for Down to the Bone, shows who his influencers are on this CD. Imagine Jeff Lorber, David Sanborn and Grover Washington Jr. combined with a little Earth wind and Fire and you have "Shilts" with his own personality. The Smooth Jazz hit `Look What Happened' sets the tone for the project which will get your `HeadBoppin' and your feet stompin! `Break the Mold' and `I Knew You'd Like This' are definitely funky and old school. I really enjoyed the cut `Good Evans' which provides a little funk groove between the Piano and Sax. The mellow sound of `Say Something' reveals his true saxability. "Shilts" closes the project with `Mrs Magic as a back door compliment to Grover. All in all the selections are complimentary to each other resulting in a CD that you will enjoy in its entirety. Also, his endless list of special guest including Lorber, Ricky Peterson, Siedah Garrett, Chris Standring, Ricky Lawson, Lenny Castro and more show why this is a great release! Put this CD on and you will find in your own case there is "no stoppin to the HeadBoppin" ~the JazzeOne

THIS CD IS GREAT!5
I tend to like alot of saxophonist when it comes to jazz. I was just browsing through some names of saxophonists that I got from another review. I found "Shilts" read the 2 reviews and figured what the heck Ill order it. WOW! Thats all I can say. Its that good. Every song moves along at a great beat and pace. If you want a good solid album that is enjoyable to listen to time and time again this is it! Cant wait to hear more from Mr. Weimer. BUY THIS ALBUM!

OUT OF THIS WORLD!5
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A JAZZ ALBUM THAT JUST MAKES YOU WANT TO GET UP AND DANCE, THIS IS IT. I HAVE NEVER PURCHASED A JAZZ ALBUM IN MY LIFE (I TEND TO LISTEN TO ALTERNATIVE ROCK AND MY CHILDREN HAVE EVEN MADE ME ENJOY SOME HIP HOP) BUT, I HAD THE GREAT PLEASURE OF SEEING "SHILTS" PERFORM AT THEIR LAUNCH PARTY AT THE GARDEN OF EDEN AND MY HUSBAND AND I PURCHASED TWO! ONE FOR MYSELF AND ONE FOR MY MOTHER. I AM DEFINATELY A BIG FAN AND I HAD MORE FUN AT THEIR LAUNCH PARTY THAN PROBABLY ANY OTHER CONCERT I HAVE BEEN TO. THE MUSIC REALLY MAKES YOU WANT TO MOVE. IT'S FUNKY, FRESH, ROMANTIC (ESPECIALLY THAT SAX) AND VERY EXCITING. IT IS CURRENTLY MY FAVORITE ALBUM I OWN. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO FUTURE ALBUMS. KEEP EM COMING SHILTS!
