Body of Lion, Head of Ruler
This teaches that generations of people have wondered about the Sphinx and its purpose. Modern anthropologists have tried to repair it, but so have Romans and even ancient Egyptians. I loved seeing that some of the paint on the edifice still remains.
This was narrated by Leonard Nimoy and I'm not convinced he was suited for the job. I wonder if this documentary series wanted to capitalize on his popularity and he was like "Show me the money!" I loved seeing Dr. Zahi Hawass, Egypt's expert on Ancient Egypt. He has an awesome chin dimple, aka butt chin.
This work really tried to drag things out. It spent time on the Rosetta Stone and then said, "That object had no connection to the Sphinx." Why bring it up then?! The makers were obviously just trying to kill time.
If you are fascinated by Ancient Egypt, then you'll like this work. However, I am almost positive that it could have been made stronger.
