In 2002, a couple vacationing in the Florida Everglades claimed they were kidnapped and forced to perform gruesome acts in front of a video camera. They brought Monroe County Authorities to an abandoned cabin where the alleged crimes had taken place, but the elaborate torture chamber they described was not there, nor any evidence of foul play. Six weeks later, Randy Whittingham was found dead in his home, the official cause of death a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Veronica Whittingham disappeared shortly thereafter, her whereabouts remain unknown to this day.

Excellent but the description is wrong
Okay I saw the movie just a few hours ago and none of what is described above is what I watched. Okay, yes a couple did clam to be forced to do acts infront of a camera but the rest of it is bogus, least the one I saw (it was a close to final film).
Now to tell you a little about the movie, I'm not one for giving anything away so I'll leave it more as a "who done it" kind of movie.
Silent Voyeur was leaps and bounds beyond what I expected from Georg Koszulinski. His first film Blood fo the Beast, was rough but anyone could see he had a story to tell and given the funds he could tell it, well Silent voyeur is it.The movie was at a perfect pace and always had you feeling wrapped up in the events. A great pychological thriller that should not be over looked.
Don't trust the description~
Wow, well clearly, whomever commented previously on this film either has never seen a good movie in their entire life or was involved in the filming of "Silent Voyeur." I have never seen "Blood of the Beast", but if "Silent Voyeur" is 'leaps and bounds' beyond it, then it must have been shot with sock puppets and ketchup packets. I watched this yesterday evening with a few friends - I read the back of dvd box and it sounded inticing enough to give it a shot. Although I am in almost complete disagreeance with the previous review, I would agree however, that "none of what is described about the film is what I watched." 10 minutes into the film, I had to try changing channels to make sure I wasn't watching "Animal Planet" - I had to scratch my head and wonder what any of this had to do with the movie I was about to watch. Perhaps the flamingo might be used in the savage rapings and brutal murders later in the film? Finally, something that remotely resembles a plot starts develop - A naked man (maybe homeless) staggering around in a field - 15 minutes later, he's still wandering around aimlessly, still naked, still not much of a plot - not to mention the acting, which is pretty poor. I'm not going to give away anything more from the movie (to avoid spoiling the film for anyone who might be desperate enough to watch it), but I will say this: Upon finishing the film, my 35 year-old friend was quick to label "Silent Voyeur" as the worst movie he has ever seen.
