Awesome DVD Burner
I just purchased this Burner and was very impressed! It's very simple to use and extremely fast. The bundled software is very good and includes everything that you need to make very professional looking DVD's. I purchased mine for $120 and feel it was definately worth it. I highly recommend this item!

LightScribe Errors!!!!!!!!! Zero stars!
I wanted this drive for lightscribe, but the lightscribe failed to work almost all of the time. I got maybe 3 disks to print out of about 50-60 tries.
Shouldn't a product work with the software that comes with it? However, I installed all of the updates from the HP site and still got a "An internal error occured" error message pretty much every time. Not a helpful error message at all. Every now and then it would throw in a disk error message just to make things interesting and I was using HP LightScribe disks.
HP was no help. I emailed HP tech support over a week ago and still haven't gotten a response.
Very disappointing!

easy plug and play.
works as advertised. the light scribe technology is in it's early stages... only shades of grey are transferrable. still, better than magic marker!
