LaserBall 360 is a spherical, rotating laser that projects level or plumb lines on walls, floors, and ceilings. No bigger than a tennis ball, it's so easy to use even a novice will experience instant success. Just attach the mounting cup to almost any flat surface with the included non-marring, self-adhesive discs. Then place LaserBall 360 in the cup, turn it on, and watch the internal LED glow a cool blue to indicate that the unit is on. Rotate the ball to project either a horizontal or vertical line, as desired, and adjust the ball in its mounting cup to determine the length of the line. It is the ideal tool for anyone who wants to hang pictures, shelves, cabinets, and other objects straight the first time.

I am not sure why the negative reviews
We used this to hang shelves in our closet and pantry. the light certainly goes further than a foot. our closet was 10ft and it went around the corner to the side wall too. when I used it for hanging pictures, the room was too bright, but it was ok when I darkened it down. My husband said that for the price, no-one can make a laser that does a 360 degree, that type costs 10 times what this does. I think this works great for the money

Great for any toolbox
Works extreamly well when trying to hang photos and paintings. Compact design but works well. 5 Stars for Zircon on this must have for all toolboxes.

Can't Beat The Price
I used this tool within minutes of receiving it. It works great, with the exception being the rotation ball isn't very stable. That just means you have to be careful not to touch the wall while hanging things. I bought a bunch for my friends.
