Mind of her own
Regardless of which side of the fence you stood when it came to give your oppinion of La Lupe, some facts can not be denied, she had a wonderful and powerful vioce, her own unique style, and the guts to do her thing, her own way. This 1970 Tico records release is vintage La Lupe. "Como Acostumbro/My way", "Unchained Melody", the merengue "Chumba La Chumba", the güagüancò "Me Vengarè", and the mozambique "Menù De Chivo" are the reason why she could be thought of an "artistic genius". The first latin soul queen.
