works great & fast
works great and fast. no problems so far. my other dvd writer was making disks that skipped and didn't work this one burns on the same brand of disks perfectly. very happy with it. haven't taken the time to figure out how to use the quick buttons yet on the top of the unit.

Lite-on is Right-on!
OK my title for this review was a little lame... sorry.

Buuuut you'll be pleasantly surprised at the ease of set-up with the Lite-on unit. This DVD burner was purchased for use in a corporate environment and will be primarily used to burn data CD's and the occasional DVD (CD's are still cheaper).

The set-up was painless - only one restart for the drivers, etc. I did not install the Nero software - didn't need it.

Use of the single-button operation is nothing short of easy. Very efficient and fairly fast.

Good packaging and delivery options.

Good basic DVD writer
I like the software it came with - the Nero is pretty user friendly. It was very easy to install.
