opteka accessory kit for sony dcr-sr100
I took delivery today on this accessory kit for my Sony DCR-SR100. Like all boys I have been playing with my toys. I spent years as an aerospace machinist. The fit and finish on these opteka teleconverter lenses is excellent. The overall quality of the kit is good. they could improve the location of the knurling on the mounts however. Installation and removal are a delicate proposition for older arthritic hands such as my own. In fact I had to very carefully remove the FL filter with a pair of channel locks. Went in just fine. backed out part way and stopped. My fingers could not threat it out the rest of the way unassisted. Knurling is on the edge instead of the side where it should be.
