ONE OF THE BEST!!!
I was so HAPPY to finally see that LA MENTIRA was finally released on DVD. Kate del Castillo and Guy Eckler have to be two of the best Spanish actors out there. I love the edited form of novelas on DVD because they take out all the repetitive and added story lines and just get to the essential parts of the novelas. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS NOVELA!!! YOU WILL ENJOY IT!!! FINALLY they show a womans character that is strong, stubborn, and seeks what she wants. Kate del Castillo brings forth a VERONICA that is trully admirable!!

Great Story.
I love the characters in this soap opera but it seemed that beyond editing the boring,filling material there were a few too many critical scenes eliminated. If you hadn't seen it on TV, you would have missed imp. details. There were some scenes I was looking forward to from the TV series & they were absent. I'm still happy I purchased this but I was disappointed. I do realize it's difficult to condense such a long story.

Excellent telenovela, horrible DVD!
I was sooo dissapointed once again when I saw that they replaced the original soundtrack of this soap with stupid hiddeous midi music, the sound is soo cheap and it gets so annoying that you just don't want to keep watching. Other TELEVOVELA DVD's with this horrible sound: ROSALINDA, ABRAZAME MUY FUERTE.. who knows how many more.. it's terrible!
