Customer Reviews

Kidde CO detector is wonderful5
Easy to use, "it just works". With battery backup, no worries. I bought 4 (including gifts for my in-laws). All are great.

Battery Backup is Great5
There's lots of Carbon Monoxide detectors out there. I bought this one because it has battery backup - keeps working if power fails.

Unit died after 5 months1
After owning for only 5 months, the alarm started buzzing constantly. The only way to stop it was to remove the batteries. According to the owners manual this means the device has malfunctioned and must be sent to Kidde for replacement. Hopefully they will exchange the unit without the original proof of purchase. It is very disappointing when a device with a 5 year warranty dies after 5 months especially when it is meant to save your life. I would recommend buying a more reliable device.
