After a run-in with a ruthless gang led by "Hashknife" Brooks (George "Gabby" Hayes), in which Ranger Bob Houston (Bob Steele) is wounded and his driver killed, Houston makes it back to headquarters only to learn that the Rangers have been disbanded. He goes back to college and learns several months later that Hashknife has murdered his girlfriend's father. Convincing the Rangers to band together for one more ride, they set out to capture Hashknife and put an end to his vile gang once and for all.
